AN URBAN FARM HAS TAKEN ROOT
Grow + Gather is the urban farm and community space where The Feedery resides. Housed in a renovated historic auto shop our farm, restaurant and market produce chef-inspired meals, grab-and-go essentials, coffee, artisanal goods and food-centric experiences. We are committed to creating a more local, more sustainable and more creative food experience to be savored by Englewood and beyond.
removing a few links from the farm to table food chain
As big fans of the local food movement, we set out to make it better by uniting the farm and table under one roof. The ingredients are fresher, flavors are bolder and the connection to the food and our community is more local than ever. Throughout our property you’ll notice a number of garden areas. We believe in growing what we can, where we can, at every opportunity. And we invite you to explore what’s growing on right now at Grow + Gather.
THE GARDENS
To be an urban farm means to grow plants in every space possible. Each garden on our property has a purpose. As our green roof helps to reduce the Urban Heat Island Effect, bees visit plants in the pollinator and rooftop gardens, and our kitchen feeds our community from the herb and southside gardens. You’ll quickly discover that our building is an intentional ecosystem in itself.

THE HYDRO FARM
From the seeding room to our patented two-channel hydroponic towers, the lettuce and herbs grown here never touch soil. We use specific mineral nutrient solutions and water to grow greens with the best flavor, color and nutrients all year long.

THE greenhouse
Eat your veggies and watch them grow too. Our rooftop dining area surrounds our climate controlled greenhouse. Inside, an abundance of tomatoes, peppers, beets, carrots and herbs fill the space.

THE BACKYARD
Offsite but always on our mind. We call it the backyard but its function is much more than that. At just over 6,000 sq.ft. it provides a significant homebase staging area as well as additional farm land extending our growing capabilities.
